Owner reporting / Evaluation guide

How can owners prepare investor reporting when managers use different systems?

Agree the reporting basis, collect the required property and entity packages, review account mappings and record who accepts the information for the investor output. Keep source versions, missing inputs and narrative assumptions with the report.

Define what accepted reporting means for this audience.

Investor-grade is not a software certification. Specify the audience's required reporting basis, supporting evidence and approval responsibilities. Property results, venture accounts and investor statements should remain distinct until the responsible finance team agrees their relationship.

Review example

A source question to work through

A quarterly investor draft contains an explanation based on a preliminary September package. If that package changes, review the linked narrative as well as the figures before the report is accepted.

Record the source, affected output, person responsible and next review date. Keep an unanswered item open until the appropriate reviewer accepts its treatment.

Where CREx fits

CREx OS is the portfolio data and reporting foundation beneath CREx Intelligence. Agree source coverage, reporting definitions, delivery expectations and review responsibilities for your account. Confirm the specific AI environment and available capabilities in the proposal. Your team reviews the evidence and makes the decision.

Eligible CREx OS accounts include support from the CREx team. Work with a named CREx operator to agree reporting responsibilities, shared capacity and coverage for your account.

Core is separately scoped Consulting for bespoke data projects. It is separate from the data foundation included in OS.

Questions to bring to the discussion

Does CREx automatically assemble and approve investor packs?
Confirm available outputs and review duties for the proposed scope. This guide does not establish automatic assembly, routing, signatures or external distribution.
Can investor and lender reports use the same inputs?
They may share sources while requiring different definitions, dates or treatment. Have the responsible reviewers agree the basis for each output.
