CREx OS Product Updates: April 11–26, 2026

This release introduces major platform expansions across AI integrations, commercial analytics, financial forecasting, and portfolio-wide reporting. From launching the new Commercial Report Suite to exposing CREx OS data through MCP for Claude and LLM workflows, these updates are designed to improve accessibility, scalability, and operational visibility across the platform.

New Additions

MCP Server — Claude AI Integration for the OS

A new MCP Server module now exposes the CREx OS data surface to Claude and other LLM clients through the Model Context Protocol. The integration includes OAuth 2.0 authentication, JWT issuance, cluster-safe client storage, and FirebaseUID propagation for secure downstream routing.

More than 17 tools were released spanning Multifamily, Commercial, Financial Reporting, Leasing Comps, User Entitlements, Search, and Data Freshness workflows. Role-based organization scoping and service-level access controls ensure tenants only access the data and modules assigned to them.

Operational improvements include prompt templates, date shorthand parsing, response caching, observability tooling, and rate-limit optimizations to support AI-driven workflows at scale.

Commercial Report Suite

A complete commercial analytics suite has been introduced, bringing commercial reporting capabilities in line with the existing multifamily experience.

The release includes:

  • Commercial Dashboard
  • Commercial Leasing
  • Commercial Collections

The leasing workflow was redesigned specifically for commercial operations, while collections reporting now supports pagination and tenant/property ranking to surface the highest-risk accounts more effectively. Portfolio-level analytics were also added to occupancy, property, and rent charts for commercial reporting.

Forecast Review — New Report

A new Forecast Review workflow has been added alongside Chart of Accounts management.

The new report allows teams to validate account-level forecasts before final review and approval. Forecast checks are now integrated directly into Chart of Accounts workflows, and reviewers can page through the full account list without previous page-size limitations.

Additional refinements were included to streamline forecast review interactions and improve usability.

Enhancements

Leasing Comps — Restructured Workflow

Leasing comps have been reorganized around properties to improve usability and bulk data management.

Key enhancements include:

  • Property-grouped tree view
  • Unlinked comps queue for unmatched units
  • One-step bulk upload with automatic unit syncing
  • Combined upload/download workflow in a unified interface

These updates significantly reduce manual processing and simplify comp management workflows.

Portfolio View Across Charts

Portfolio-level analytics have been expanded across the reporting stack.

Users can now:

  • View portfolio-wide occupancy and rent trends
  • Compare analytics across entire portfolios instead of single properties
  • Search portfolios directly within financial reports and unit management
  • See “Selected Properties Average” tooltip comparisons within occupancy and rent trend charts

These enhancements provide clearer portfolio benchmarking and broader performance visibility.
