This week’s CREx OS updates focus on strengthening security controls, improving financial reporting accuracy, and resolving data consistency issues across dashboards and collections. Below is a summary of the enhancements and fixes released between January 9 and January 15, 2026.
🔐 Property-Level Security
Property-level security implementation
We implemented comprehensive property-level security across financial reports and both commercial and multifamily modules. Access to property data is now controlled based on user permissions, ensuring users only see properties they are authorized to view. This update strengthens data governance and improves access control consistency across analytics, dashboards, leasing, rent rolls, occupancy, and reporting workflows.

💰 Financial Reports & Dashboards
Budget features in property comparison
Monthly and yearly budget columns have been added to the property comparison view. Users can now review budget data alongside other property metrics, enabling clearer financial comparisons and more informed analysis.

Filter management in financial reports
Improved filter refresh and clear logic have been implemented across financial reports. Filters now reset and refresh correctly, providing a more reliable reporting experience across financial dashboards, summaries, period comparisons, and collections.

🏢 Multifamily Dashboard
Monthly revenue fix
Resolved an issue causing inconsistencies in monthly revenue reporting on the multifamily dashboard. Monthly rent calculations have been corrected to ensure accurate revenue figures.

Portfolio performance fixes
Fixed an issue where the portfolio performance section incorrectly displayed “no data.” Portfolio performance metrics now display accurately across applicable views.

Terminology update
Updated dashboard and occupancy terminology from “total buildings” to “total properties” for improved clarity and consistency across the multifamily experience.

📊 Collections & Receivables
Unit count fixes
Resolved unit count calculation mismatches in the multifamily collections summary. Unit counts now align correctly across collections views and reports, ensuring more accurate operational and financial insights.
