CREx / CRE10x / Training
Training Led by NYU faculty Operator-led labs

AI training for commercial real estate teams.

One to two days of online foundations — basic setup of Claude or Microsoft Copilot — then role-based verticals for acquisitions, asset management, underwriting, and fund operations. Onsite, virtual, or hybrid, with real workflows, not demos.

/ 01 The problem

Every CRE firm wants AI. Most don't know where to start — or how to make it stick.

Generic AI workshops don't change how your team underwrites a deal or closes a month. What changes behavior is role-based training on your data, reinforced by a cohort and a mentor.

CRE10x is that program. Foundations first, then the verticals your team actually works in — certification, habit formation, and measurable ROI, in that order.

Foundations

Day 1–2: get set up.

One to two days, delivered online. Everyone leaves with working accounts, safe defaults, and their first real workflow running.

/01 · Setup
Claude & Microsoft Copilot

Accounts, workspace and security configuration, and Copilot in Teams (Cowork) — set up the right way for an institutional shop.

/02 · Fundamentals
Prompting & safe defaults

Prompting fundamentals, document handling, data privacy, hallucination checks, and what never to paste into a model.

/03 · First workflow
Connect your data

Each attendee wires up one real document or dataset and ships a first working output before the foundations end.

Verticals

Then the verticals.

After foundations, teams split into the verticals they work in. Every lab is built around a real CRE workflow on your data.

/01 · Vertical
Acquisitions

OM synthesis, financial-modeling assistants, underwriting QA, and deal screening at 10× velocity.

/02 · Vertical
Asset Management

Rent-roll review, lease abstraction, variance analysis, tenant-retention modeling, and reporting automation.

/03 · Vertical
Underwriting

T-12 spreading, rent-roll normalization, first-pass models against your template, and sensitivity analysis.

/04 · Vertical
Fund Operations

Investor memos, capital calls, distribution waterfalls, quarterly reporting, and close automation.

How it works

From baseline to fluency.

We don't start with theory. We start with your data, your team, and your stack.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

A role-based AI program for commercial real estate teams: one to two days of online foundations (Claude or Microsoft Copilot setup), then verticals for acquisitions, asset management, underwriting, and fund operations. Hands-on workshops, certification, and ongoing support — designed by CRE operators, not ML PhDs. Need AI deployed for you instead? See implementation.

NYU Schack faculty teach the core curriculum, joined by CREx operators who have built and shipped these workflows inside institutional CRE shops. No ML PhDs giving theory — every instructor has run a portfolio or deployed an AI agent in production.

The foundations run online. Verticals run on-site at your office, virtually over Zoom, or hybrid — same faculty, same hands-on labs, same case-study work. Onsite is preferred for new-team rollouts; virtual works well for distributed teams or follow-on cohorts.

Institutional CRE teams: asset managers, acquisitions analysts, underwriting teams, and fund-operations leaders. Everyone takes foundations; then teams split into the vertical they work in — an analyst track looks different from a fund-ops track.

Real CRE workflows: rent roll review, lease abstraction, comp synthesis, budget variance, deal screening, investor memo prep, and underwriting automation. Every lab is built around a CRE use case — no "build a chatbot" toy projects.

Yes. Every cohort includes a 60-day office-hours window for follow-up questions, prompt iteration, and workflow tuning. Larger engagements roll into implementation, with a CREx operator embedded for the first quarter of rollout.

Fill out the form below or email contact@crexsoftware.com. We run a 30-minute scoping call to size the cohort, then return a fixed-fee proposal within 48 hours. New cohorts start every month.
