Is a CRE market-data connection the same as access to our portfolio?
No. Market information and your authorized property-manager records have different provenance and coverage. For an AI connection, identify the exact sources, fields, dates, permitted users and supported actions rather than relying on the connector label.

A market benchmark may help frame a question, while an explanation of your property's actual result needs the relevant operating records. Keep those evidence types separate. A connection standard alone does not establish data access, refresh timing or calculation accuracy.
What to confirm before choosing the scope

A source question to work through
An answer uses a market occupancy benchmark to explain a property variance. The benchmark can supply context, but the team still needs the property's actual occupancy definition and reporting period.
Record the source, affected output, person responsible and next review date. Keep an unanswered item open until the appropriate reviewer accepts its treatment.
